1st draft

This is the first draft of my front cover and as you can it doesnt seem appealing yet. i am yet add cover lines and sell lines and more to follow the codes and conventions of a music magazine. i have removed the background on this image and I dont think that i am going to add one because it is easier to use different colors without a background on the front cover because there are no colors to clashing with it.

planning pages before using indesign.

these are drafts of my pages before applying and making them in indesign. I think that i will start with taking my images for all my pages and then will start by making my front cover.

research and planning

for my audience research i decided to do a poll survey to find out peoples opinion to use as a guide line on making my music magazine.

when asked what mast head I should use for my hip hop magazine that would attract the audience "O.P.P" or "Other Peoples Popularity" got 75% of the both so i have decided to use that as my masthead.

I have also asked if people would be interested in reading a magazine about hip and hop and its culture and 100% said yes.

I also asked if the readers would be interested in not just reading about music but also about its culture and 100% said yes and also asked what age group I'm targeting and my result of 18-20 got 75% and 20+ got 25%
